Pacesetting Trials at Crystal Mountain, MI

The Pacesetting Trial at Crystal Mountain has been cancelled.

We are working on an alternate date.

 

The Regional Pacesetting Trials are not open to the public.

 

Crystal Mountain, MI will host the Midwest Regional Pacesetting Trials Wednesday, December 15th.

Each NASTAR resort is required to send, at minimum, two (2) pacesetters and not more than (5) pacesetters to a Regional Pacesetting Trial.

To enter: Go to NASTAR.com and Log In to your NASTAR record. How to Log In

Then, click on the REGISTER tab. At the bottom of the page you will see a list of resorts that are hosting Pacesetting Trials. Enter the race at Crystal Mountain.

 

Schedule

Wednesday, December 15

8:30am - 9:30am – Pick up lift tickets and race bibs - Crystal Center

9:30am – Course Inspection with Daron

10:00am - 11:00am – Coat Race starts

• Minimum, two race runs wearing warm-ups or work clothes

11:30am - 12:30pm – Suit Race starts

• Minimum, two race runs wearing race suits or without a coat

12:30pm - 1:30pm – Lunch

2:00pm - 3:00pm – Slalom Race: (Coat or Suit) Two race runs stubby gates

3:00pm - 5:00pm – Team Awards & NASTAR instructional presentation - Crystal Center

 

• Review software and web site upgrades

• Each pacesetter will earn Certified NASTAR Pacesetting Handicaps

• Team awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Resort Teams based on results from the Suit Race. Teams will be scored using NASTAR Team Points. The three highest scoring team members will be used to score each Resort Team.
