NASTAR is excited to announce a new lineup of athletes scheduled to paceset at the NASTAR National Championships this year! From local legend Wiley Maple to Erik Ardvisson and Kyle Negomir, participants will have the chance to meet, greet, race, and get autographs from our attending pacesetters.

Wiley Maple

April 3-6

Aspen local Wiley Maple has been known as one of the most resilient athletes on the U.S. Ski Team. Even after retirement from the team, this Olympian finished in the top 20 during the Audi FIS World Cup in Aspen during the downhill training run.

Erik Arvidsson

April 6-8

A Middlebury alum, Erik Arvidsson will be setting the pace at the National Championships. Arvidsson recently tied for 14th place in the Stifel America’s Downhill in Aspen, with other career highlights including 8th Place in Saalbach, Austria World Cup 2021, 2016 World Junior Champion and 2018 NCAA First Team All-American.

Kyle Negomir

April 7-8

As the 2019 NorAm Overall Champion, Kyle Negomir will join us at the Championships this year for the final days of Gold and Platinum racing. Kyle is a Colorado native and a NASTAR National Champion from 2009 & 2010. He has spent the last 4 years on the U.S. Ski Team, and you’ll love his attitude and personal motto: “Any day spent skiing is a good day!” Kyle is also a two time NASTAR National Champion from 2009 & 2010 and he earned second place during the 2006 & 2007 Nationals.
