NASTAR and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association have teamed up to create an event that will celebrate the sport of alpine racing, The Nature Valley Championships. The event will include the Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships, the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships, a Family Challenge and a Pro-Am Team Competition. There will be parties, concerts, Warren Miller movies, race video and games to unite the fans of the sport with current and former U.S. Ski Team’s athletes.
Winter Park Resort, Colorado will host The Championships celebration March 22-April 1. The Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships are March 23 – 25, with Team races taking place on March 26 & 27 and the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships March 28-April 1.

Just a reminder: The deadline to register is MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2011 at 8:00 PM (mountain time). You will not be able to register online after this date. Space is limited to the first 1,400 competitors that register. If you register online you will receive confirmation immediately.

I would love to do copper (I
I would love to do copper (I do have my competitors license) but my kids want to go to nastar, so that is where I will be this year. Had they been separate weekends, still would have done one or the other, not both. Kids win every time. I am not blessed with living in the rockies.
Masters racers should race in
Masters racers should race in Masters competitions and Nastar racers should race in Nastar competitions. Please continue to schedule them at the same time.
I second coordinating with
I second coordinating with USSA masters Nationals so we can race both. Scheduling nastar & masters back to back would make the perfect late march vacation in the Rockies!!
