This winter the Liberty Mutual Insurance NASTAR Regional Championships will be held at Boyne Mountain for the Midwest and Okemo Mountain in the East. The National Championships move West to Squaw Valley, California this year and we can’t wait to see all of the NASTAR enthusiasts turnout for these incredibly fun races!

The top three racers in each division, based on age and ability group at the Regionals, will win awards and automatically qualify for the National Championships March 21-25.

If you’re lucky enough to win your age and ability group during the Nationals, you will be invited to compete in the Race of Champions. This race is unlike any other because we utilize NASTAR's unique handicap system so that the youngest of racers can compete against some of our oldest racers and our fastest racers. Although men and women compete separately, the first racer down the course stands on top of the podium until a racer finishes with a faster discounted time, and then they step down and try to hold on to their podium position. The quickest competitors have to race last and the person standing atop the podium at the end of the race becomes the Overall Liberty Mutual Insurance NASTAR National Champion.

The Regional Championships are packed with events, live music, and even a family race very similar to the National Championships. NASTAR National Pacesetter and Olympian Marco Sullivan will be at both of the Regional Championships offering race clinics on the Friday before the race starts. National Pacesetter Claire Brown will be joining Marco Sullivan at Boyne Mountain for the Midwest Regional Championships.

If you haven't already registered for your Regional Championship, registration is now open and you can sign up today!
