Participants receive a State Ranking in their state of residence after completing two (2) Nature Valley NASTAR races. These two races must be completed on separate days. The best handicap earned on the second best race day during the season is used to determine the State Ranking. Ties are broken by the total number of days raced. If a participant has two (2) to four (4) race days, their State Ranking handicap is used to determine whether they are placed in the Platinum Division, Gold Division, Silver Division or Bronze Division.
