11-year member of the U.S. Ski Team
Named to the U.S. Ski Team at age 15
Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist (1980 - Alpine Combined / 1984 - Slalom)
Olympic Silver Medalist (1980 - Slalom)
First U.S. skier to win the World Cup Overall Title (1981)
Won three consecutive World Cup Overall Titles (1981, '82, '83)
Retired in 1985

Began skiing at White Pass in Washington
Twin brother Steve won an Olympic bronze medal (1984 - Slalom)
Teaches skiing with Steve at the Mahre Training Center at Keystone Resort in Colorado
