No longer USSA-legal for J1/2 (both on account of length and turning radius), but still makes a great master’s, high school, J3, or nastar (of course) gs race ski (or college league not following USSA equipment rules). Plus fun for fast free skiing of course. Metal & rubber Power Pulsion plate predrilled for Rossi/Look Axial/Pivot bindings, making it easy to remount plate to accommodate different boot sizes or experiment with fore/aft position.
From 2002 model year, but purchased part-way through 2003 season and skied on for 39 half days and evenings plus 8 full days. (Yeah, I keep track...) Edges are *very* sharp, with lots of side edge left for future sharpening. Bases have just minor scratches and would be nearly perfect after a stonegrind; have been stoneground only once, so almost all of the original base is left.
Bindings are Rossignol Axial 140 (adjustment range of 5 to 14).
