Wow, the US Ski Team really brought it to these Olympic games. Both men and women, a US Ski Team member or two has medaled at every race so far. And I give Mancuso a good chance of medaling again in the GS, as well as Ligety and Bode in the GS and Slalom. Ligety had the fastest slalom result in the combined yesterday.

The snowboarders are doing well too, with a few exceptions. The majority of medals have come from the US Ski and Snowboard Teams.

Congratulations!

What's really exciting is the Americans had the three fastest slalom runs in the Super combined - so that might "bode" well for the slalom on Saturday.

1. Ligety - 50.76
2. Brandenburg - 50.78
3. Miller - 51.01

Hopefully! They beat pretty good slalom specialists with this season WC podiums such as Lizeroux, Kostelic, Janyk, Zurbriggen...

Stupid NBC TV didn't show Brandenburg's slalom run.

Slalom course on Saturday will be longer, harder, 2 runs + fenomenal Austrians..., but it's Olympics and anything can happen.

The most important thing for me in Alpine skiing and probably in whole Olympic games 2010 has happened - Bode finally won the well deserved Olympic Gold despite of his current physical conditions!
